Protect Your Ride and Register Your Bike

BikesThe Town of Ponoka and the RCMP have joined forces to launch a free online bike registry for citizens in the Town of Ponoka. The new bike registry aids in returning stolen bikes back to their rightful owners.

How to Register Your Bike

To register your bike, please click here (please sign up or log in using your recreation account). You can also register in person at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street) or Ponoka Aquaplex (5315 46 Avenue) or by phone at 403-783-0131.

If your bike is stolen, your online profile will be shared with the Ponoka RCMP with the make, model and serial number of your bike, along with your contact information.

How to Report a Bike Theft

If your bike has been stolen, please call 310-RCMP (7267). You can also report a crime through the Alberta RCMP app (found on Google Play or the Apple Store) or online at Ocre-sielc.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/alberta/en.

This step is necessary to place an insurance claim or to collect your bike from any law enforcement agency that may recover your bike.

If your bike is in the process of being stolen, please call 911 immediately.
