The key features of the park include a central lawn space for passive and active recreation, a central circular walkway with seating furniture and the preservation of existing trees throughout the park.


Co-op Subdivision ParkThe Co-op Subdivision Park is located at 6412 50A Street.

The key features of the park include a playground, benches, and a central lawn space for recreation.




Kids playing at playgroundLocated at 59 Avenue Close, this community-scale park offers both an active and passive recreation experience.

It includes a playground, benches, picnic tables, a basketball court and a ball diamond. 

This park is also within 600 metres of walking distance to the north bridge that connects to the Battle River Valley trail system.



Lions Centennial Park is located on Highways 2A, just north of Highway 53.

The Lions Centennial Park is one of the main pillars of the community. The park features an outdoor stage, splash park, playground, picnic shelters, public washrooms and a fishing pond. This is primarily a very open-style park, with boulevard-style tree plantings along the pathway. Most of the grounds are large turf spaces with scattered picnic tables and benches.

Amphitheatre and labyrinthThe Old Hospital Rotary Park is located at 5609 51 Street.

This community park offers a beautiful green space that includes two covered gathering areas with picnic tables, benches, an amphitheatre, labyrinth, edible gardens and paved walking paths.


Riverside ParkRiverside Park is located at 46 Street and 38 Avenue. 

This park offers a quiet, picturesque setting for family photos and group events. This regional park has many pocket open spaces separated by mature trees. It also includes a playground, benches and picnic tables.

The Tractor Park features paved walking trails, benches, perennial flower gardens, and two heritage tractors that were recently refurbished and reinstalled.




The Tri-Services Park in Lucas Heights is located at 59 Street and 60 Avenue. This park provides the community with soccer fields and a playground. Benches are also situated throughout the park.

The Volunteer Firefighters Riverside Park Located at 45 Street and 42 Avenue, The Volunteer Firefighters Riverside Park provides the community with a wide variety of play equipment for young families. It includes a multi-age playground and a single basketball pad.

This neighborhood park is less than a 0.2 km walk (using sidewalks) to the Battle River Valley trail system.


Westview Park is located at 51 Avenue Close. It is a typical neighborhood park with mature trees that provide an inviting location for family picnics, play and gatherings. Temporary event space is also available within a local residential setting. The park includes a basketball pad with a single hoop.
