Receiving Your Assessment and Tax Notice

Emailing on the computerPonoka citizens have the option of going paperless and having their property assessment and tax notice delivered by email instead of regular mail.

The Electronic Assessment and Tax Communications Bylaw No. 463-22 gives you the convenience and environmentally-friendly choice of opting for email delivery of assessment and tax notices.

Citizens can sign up to receive their assessment and tax notice by email by filling out the Email Authorization Form. 

The Email Authorization Form can be completed:

  • by clicking here and
    • downloading, filling out and emailing the form to taxes@ponoka.ca;
    • printing, filling out and dropping off to the Town Office at the Ponoka Civic Centre or mailed to Town of Ponoka, 200, 5604 50 St, Ponoka, AB T4J 1G5. 
  • by contacting the Tax Clerk at taxes@ponoka.ca or calling 403-783-0127 to have an electronic copy of the form emailed to you; or
  • in person at the Town Office at the Ponoka Civic Centre. 

Those who don’t sign up will continue to receive a paper copy of their assessment and tax notice by mail.
