Request for Proposal - Agricultural Leases of Town Owned Land
The Town of Ponoka is seeking proposals from experienced farming entities that are interested in leasing Town-owned land. Successful candidates must be capable of managing and maintaining productive agricultural operations and would actively use the land for growing crops, hay production or grazing.
Proposal Details:
The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to lease the subject parcels for a five-year term from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029. The subject parcels are as follows:

Interested parties are asked to provide a proposal for the parcel(s) of land they are interested in.
Proposal Submission Requirements:
The proposal shall include the dollar amount per acre, per year along with all other information requested in Appendix A and B of the RFP. A detailed RFP package is available at the Town Office 200, 5604 50 Street, Ponoka AB, T4J 1G5 between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or linked below.

Proposal postmark dates and times will not be considered as meeting that deadline. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope with original documents to the address shown above. The Town is not responsible for proposals that are delinquent, lost, mismarked and sent to an address other than given above, or delayed by mail or courier service. The Town of Ponoka reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received.
